Value Filters

How to filter based on the different ranges of values for a given metric

❓When do I use Value Filters?

Every metric has values with a certain range. In case you want to slice and dice the data based on the different ranges of values for a given metric, you can do so with the help of value filters. These filters allow the users to perform comparisons on the entities. For example, if the user wants to select all the areas with a revenue greater than $100.

Other examples include,

  • Amount range > $50

  • Distance> 5 miles

  • Number of orders < 500

  • Number of shipments between 0 to 450

🪐How to add a value filter?

  • In order to create the filter, choose the Value Filter option and enter the following details:

    • Measure property: The property on which we want to add the filter

    • Comparison: Here the user enters the comparison option, which can be The greater than, lesser than, equal to, and not equal to.
