⏰ When is the time series useful to me?

The time series option is very useful when the users want to see geo and time together.

  • At 7:00 PM on Mondays, where is the stock out happening?

  • Which localities receive the most amount of orders on weekends in the evening?

  • On weekdays, which areas have the most amount of rides booked?

  • What time of day do the majority of delays occur? Weekend vs Weekdays, Morning vs Evening, Holidays vs Working days,

and so on.

⏳How do I specify the time period over which I wish to view the data?

In order to specify the time period,

  • First, expand the time series option.

  • Click on the time range option.

  • Here you can specify any time period that you wish to view.

Here are the following options you can choose from:

  • Today

    • Here you can view the data from anywhere between the Last 24 Hours to the Last 15 Minutes.

  • Yesterday

  • Last 2 Days

  • Last 7 Days

  • Last 30 Days

  • Last 60 Days

⌚️Can I specify a custom time period in the time series?

Yes, you can specify a custom period if the above options do not fit your use case. There are two ways to do that:

  • Directly enter the dates in the fields specified in MM DD YYYY format. For example, if you want to view the data from 16th January 2020 to 25th January 2020, then enter Jan 16 2020 β†’ Jan 25 2020.

⏲ How do we filter for specific times of the day?

You can do so with the help of the day and time filter on the time series. The user can select different hours of the day at the same time. This is particularly helpful when the users want to see the behavior of areas at certain times of the day.

For example,

  • Which localities see the highest number of delays in the morning?

  • Where are the most cancellations occurring in the afternoons?

You can choose between the following time intervals.

✨ Note: The users can also choose the days of the week to understand the area patterns of that particular day of the week. For example,

  • During the weekends, where are the most cancellations occurring in the afternoons?

  • How many bookings are we getting from a particular area between 9:00 AM and 12:00 AM on Monday?

⏱ Where can I see how my areas are performing on different days of the week?

The users can get an understanding of their areas either based on the days of the week or the times of the day. For example, you can see the number of unique users on each day of the week and at each hour of the day.

✨ Note: When the cumulation is set to all, the timeline is shown by a green line which shows the trends across the time period chosen by the user.

In order to see the cumulation based on time or hours, just click on the days and hours button respectively. The dark green bar graph shows the highest number whereas the red bar graph shows the lowest number. You can hover over each bar, in order to see the values.
